Air India Express Flight 1344 was a scheduled international flight on 7 August 2020 from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to Kozhikode, India, landing at Calicut International Airport. The flight was part of the Vande Bharat Mission to repatriate Indian nationals stranded due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Asia Pacific Claims Management worked with 6 families in this matter.

Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 was a scheduled international passenger flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing that lost contact with air traffic control on 8 March 2014 at 01:20 MYT, less than an hour after takeoff. At 07:24, Malaysia Airlines reported the flight missing. The aircraft, a Boeing 777-200ER, was carrying 12 Malaysian crew members and 227 passengers from 14 nations. There has been no confirmation of any flight debris and no crash site has been found. Garuda Indonesia Flight 200 was a scheduled domestic passenger flight of a Boeing 737-497 operated by Garuda Indonesia between Jakarta and Yogyakarta, Indonesia, carrying 140 passengers. The aircraft crashed and burst into flames while landing at Adisucipto International Airport on 7 March 2007. 21 passengers and 1 crew member were killed; 5 Australians were amongst those that died along with many more injured. Asia Pacific assisted the family's of the Australian victims and those injured in the crash. Substantial settlements were obtained in this case.

On 7 May 2005, a Fairchild Aircraft Inc. SA227-DC Metro 23 aircraft with two pilots and 13 passengers, was being operated by Transair on a regular public transport service from Bamaga to Cairns, with an intermediate stop at Lockhart River, Queensland. At approximatly 11:45 the aircraft impacted terrain in the Iron Range National Park on the north-western slope of South Pap, a heavily timbered ridge, approximately 11 km north-west of the Lockhart River aerodrome. The aircraft was destroyed by the impact forces and an intense, fuel-fed, post-impact fire. There were no survivors. Asia Pacific assisted 5 families of the victims. [...]

On 10 January 2002, Flight 421 operated by Garuda Indonesia experience a double engine failure after entering severe turbulence during a thunderstorm. Miraculously the pilots were able to perform an emergency landing of the plan on a river near Klaten, Java. Of the 60 crew and passengers onboard, one crew member perished with 44 passengers and crew injured. Asia Pacific assisted 38 clients in bringing a claim against Boeing and General Electric that eventually resulted in successful claims for all clients.

The aircraft departed Perth Western Australia on a charter flight to Leonora, WA with one pilot and 7 passengers on board.Approximately five hours later having travelled almost the entire breadth of Australia the plane crash near Burketown in Queensland killing all on board.  Asia Pacific assisted two of the families of the victims.

On December 19,1997, a Silk Air Boeing 737 unexplainably entered uncontrolled flight and crashed near Palembang, Indonesia. All onboard perished. Boeing immediately claimed the Singaporean pilot had committed suicide, taking everyone else with him. Boeing found an ally in the U.S. NTSB which supported the Boeing suicide theory. However, attorney acting on behalf of Asia Pacific clients (and others) refused to accept this explanation. After an extensive independent investigation and an extremely difficult 8 year battle with the defendants, the attorneys were able to establish that the crash was caused, not by an intentional act by the pilot, but by a defect in the aircraft’s [...]

On August 6, 1997, Korean Air flight 801, a Boeing 747-300, operated by Korean Air crashed at Nimitz Hill, Guam. The flight departed from Kimpo International Airport with 237 passengers and 17 crew on board. The aircraft had been cleared to land at A.B. Won Guam International Airport, Agana, Guam, and crashed into high terrain about 3 miles southwest of the airport. Of the 254 persons on board, 228 were killed, and 23 passengers and 3 flight attendants survived the accident with serious injuries. The Hercules was flying U.S. marines back to Vietnam after a rest and relaxation leave in Hong Kong. The airplane was bound for Da Nang Air Base and Saigon. Shortly after lifting off the runway, the airplane veered left, struck a sea wall and crashed into the water about 40 feet off an industrial suburb on Hong Kong Island. The nr.1 engine was delivering only partial power during take-off. Asia Pacific assisted for the families of the 12 Indonesian crew who were killed on injured in the crash.

The aircraft struck an irrigation spray and subsequently impacted terrain whilst conducting agricultural spraying activities in North Queensland. Asia Pacific assisted the pilot in bringing action against his employer.

Whilst crop dusting in Northwestern Tasmania, the pilot experienced a catastrophic failure of the propeller losing a blade in flight. Asia Pacific assisted the pilot in bringing a action against the propeller's manufacturer, Hatzell Propeller Inc.
