Air India Express Flight 1344
Air India Express Flight 1344 was a scheduled international flight on 7 August 2020 from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, to Kozhikode, India, landing at Calicut International Airport. The flight was part of the Vande Bharat Mission to repatriate Indian nationals stranded due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Asia Pacific Claims Management worked with 6 families in this matter.

Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752
Ukraine International Airlines Flight 752 (PS752/AUI752) was a scheduled international civilian passenger flight from Tehran to Kyiv, operated by Ukraine International Airlines. On 8 January 2020, the Boeing 737-800 flying the route was shot down by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) shortly after takeoff, killing all 176 occupants on board. Asia Pacific is currently working with the families of 16 victims. We have representatives working with us in Canada, Ukraine and Beirut to support our clients.

FLIGHT 370 MALAYSIAN AIRLINES INDIAN OCEAN
Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 was a scheduled international passenger flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing that lost contact with air traffic control on 8 March 2014 at 01:20 MYT, less than an hour after takeoff. At 07:24, Malaysia Airlines reported the flight missing. The aircraft, a Boeing 777-200ER, was carrying 12 Malaysian crew members and 227 passengers from 14 nations. FLIGHT CG1600 AIRLINES PNG MADANG, PNG
The Bombardier Dash 8 aircraft operated by airlines PNG crashed 33 km south east of Madang, Papua New Guinea. 28 people were fatally injured in the crash with four passengers surviving. Asia Pacific is currently assisting a large number of the victims families in pursuing possible claims.

FLIGHT GA200 GARUDA INDONESIA AIRLINES YOGYAKARTA, INDONESIA
Garuda Indonesia Flight 200 was a scheduled domestic passenger flight of a Boeing 737-497 operated by Garuda Indonesia between Jakarta and Yogyakarta, Indonesia, carrying 140 passengers. The aircraft crashed and burst into flames while landing at Adisucipto International Airport on 7 March 2007. 21 passengers and 1 crew member were killed; 5 Australians were amongst those that died along with many more injured. Asia Pacific assisted the family's of the Australian victims and those injured in the crash. Substantial settlements were obtained in this case.

FLIGHT 547 ADAM AIR NEAR SULAWESI, INDONESIA
Adam Air Boeing B-737-4Q8 went missing between Surabaya and Mandan, Indonesia on 1 January 2007 whilst carrying 102 passengers and crew. It is believed that the aircraft crashed into the sea. The bodies of those that died and the wreckage has not been recovered. The crash is one of several transportation accidents which among them have resulted in large-scale transport safety reforms in Indonesia. Adam Air was subsequently banned from flying by the Indonesian government, and later declared bankruptcy. TRANSAIR FAIRCHILD INDUSTRIES METROLINER IRONRANGE NATIONAL PARK LOCKHART RIVER, NORTH QUEENSLAND
On 7 May 2005, a Fairchild Aircraft Inc. SA227-DC Metro 23 aircraft with two pilots and 13 passengers, was being operated by Transair on a regular public transport service from Bamaga to Cairns, with an intermediate stop at Lockhart River, Queensland. At approximatly 11:45 the aircraft impacted terrain in the Iron Range National Park on the north-western slope of South Pap, a heavily timbered ridge, approximately 11 km north-west of the Lockhart River aerodrome. The aircraft was destroyed by the impact forces and an intense, fuel-fed, post-impact fire. There were no survivors. Asia Pacific assisted 5 families of the victims. [...]

FLIGHT 538 LION AIR ADI SUMARMO AIRPORT, SURAKARTA, INDONESIA
Lion Air Flight 538, a McDonnell Douglas MD 82 was a scheduled flight from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta to Juanda International Airport in Surabaya with a stopover at AdiSumarmoAirport,Surakarta. The aircraft carrying 156 passengers and 7 crew overran the runway whilst landing at Surakarta. There were wet conditions in the area at the time due to hard rain. The captain, a flight attendant, and 23 passengers died as a result of the accident. A further 117 passengers were injured in the crash. FLIGHT 421 GARUDA INDONESIA
On 10 January 2002, Flight 421 operated by Garuda Indonesia experience a double engine failure after entering severe turbulence during a thunderstorm. Miraculously the pilots were able to perform an emergency landing of the plan on a river near Klaten, Java. Of the 60 crew and passengers onboard, one crew member perished with 44 passengers and crew injured. Asia Pacific assisted 38 clients in bringing a claim against Boeing and General Electric that eventually resulted in successful claims for all clients.

BELL 407 NEAR PALAWAN ISLAND, PHILIPPINES
On May 18, 2001, a Bell 407 helicopter, Philippine registration RP-C2345, was destroyed during a forced landing following a loss of engine power near Puerto Princesa, in the Palawan Islands, in the Republic of the Philippines. The commercial pilot, the flight mechanic, and the 4 passengers were fatally injured. Asia Pacific assisted 3 families in this case.

BEECHCRAFT SUPER KING AIR 200 BURKETOWN, QUEENSLAND
The aircraft departed Perth Western Australia on a charter flight to Leonora, WA with one pilot and 7 passengers on board.Approximately five hours later having travelled almost the entire breadth of Australia the plane crash near Burketown in Queensland killing all on board. Asia Pacific assisted two of the families of the victims.

FLIGHT 990 EGYPT AIR ATLANTIC OCEAN
On 31 October 1999, a Boeing 767-300ER Aircraft operated by Egypt Air was en-route to Cairo Egypt having departed John J Kennedy International Airport, New York City. The aircraft crashed into the Atlantic Ocean about 100km south of Nantucket Island, Massachusetts killing all 217 passenger on board. The U.S. crash investigators immediately raised the specter of pilot suicide, but any “evidence” of such mass homicide soon evaporated upon closer examination by Mr Floyd Wisner of Wisner law firm acting on behalf of the Asia Pacific Claims Management clients. FLIGHT 185 SILK AIR PALEMBANG, INDONESIA
On December 19,1997, a Silk Air Boeing 737 unexplainably entered uncontrolled flight and crashed near Palembang, Indonesia. All onboard perished. Boeing immediately claimed the Singaporean pilot had committed suicide, taking everyone else with him. Boeing found an ally in the U.S. NTSB which supported the Boeing suicide theory. However, attorney acting on behalf of Asia Pacific clients (and others) refused to accept this explanation. FLIGHT 152 GARUDA INDONESIA MEDAN, INDONESIA
On 26 September 1997, an Airbus A300 aircraft en-route from Jakarta to Medan crashed into a hillside on approach to Medan Airport. All 224 on board perished making this accident the worst aviation disaster in Indonesian history. The attorney for Asia Pacific clients was able to establish that the ground proximity warning system (manufactured by a US company) contributed to the accident. Litigation therefore commenced in the US and the original 22 Indonesian families who lost their relatives we rewarded substantial payments. FLIGHT 801 KOREAN AIRLINES AGANA, GAUM
On August 6, 1997, Korean Air flight 801, a Boeing 747-300, operated by Korean Air crashed at Nimitz Hill, Guam. The flight departed from Kimpo International Airport with 237 passengers and 17 crew on board. The aircraft had been cleared to land at A.B. Won Guam International Airport, Agana, Guam, and crashed into high terrain about 3 miles southwest of the airport. Of the 254 persons on board, 228 were killed, and 23 passengers and 3 flight attendants survived the accident with serious injuries. BELL 212 JET RANGER 100KM EAST OF PALU, INDONESIA
The Bell 212 was operating approximately 100 kilometers east of Palu over water when it lost power. The pilot attempted an autorotation landing following a transmission failure however the aircraft overturned upon landing. Of the five passengers and crew onboard, 4 were killed with one injured survivor. Asia Pacific assisted the families of the deceased and the injured passenger in their claims.
LOCKHEED C130 HERCULES MILITARY HONG KONG
The Hercules was flying U.S. marines back to Vietnam after a rest and relaxation leave in Hong Kong. The airplane was bound for Da Nang Air Base and Saigon. Shortly after lifting off the runway, the airplane veered left, struck a sea wall and crashed into the water about 40 feet off an industrial suburb on Hong Kong Island. The nr.1 engine was delivering only partial power during take-off. Asia Pacific assisted for the families of the 12 Indonesian crew who were killed on injured in the crash.

ROBINSON R22 NEAR ALICE SPRINGS, NORTHERN TERRITORY
The pilot of the helicopter experience a bearing failure whilst returning to Alice Springs. The helicopter subsequently impacted the terrain at high speed resulting in severe spinal injuries to the pilot. AGRICULTURAL AIRCRAFT NORTH QUEENSLAND
The aircraft struck an irrigation spray and subsequently impacted terrain whilst conducting agricultural spraying activities in North Queensland. Asia Pacific assisted the pilot in bringing action against his employer.
BELL 206B JET RANGER 20KM NORTH EAST OF GLADSTONE, QUEENSLAND
The helicopter was conducting a charter flight from Gladstone to Heron Island. Midway through the flight the helicopter experienced a compressor failure and the pilot advised that he was returning to Gladstone. A short time later the helicopter ditched into the sea. The helicopter was recovered 5 kilometres north east of Facing Island in 24 metres of water. The pilot along with two passengers drowned with one surviving. Asia Pacific assisted the widow and children of the pilot.

Whilst crop dusting in Northwestern Tasmania, the pilot experienced a catastrophic failure of the propeller losing a blade in flight. Asia Pacific assisted the pilot in bringing a action against the propeller's manufacturer, Hatzell Propeller Inc.

BElL 206 JET RANGER GOLD COAST, QUEENSLAND
The Helicopter was operated by Seaworld and conducting a joy flight with six passengers and the pilot on board.The helicopter crashed shortly after takeoff killing all on board. Asia Pacific assisted the family members of all the victims and the pilot against Bell Helicopter.
